While I would give the food 4 stars, the lack of service all around took it down to a two and even that may be generous. The hostess made us wait while they "cleared a table ", but when they finally seated us almost all the tables were empty. We then waited so long for the server to even acknowledge us that a couple, who came in after we did, got tired of waiting and left. Although my grandson was amused by her Aussie accent it did not come close to making up for her slowness or inattentiveness. She could have made a bigger tip if she appeared to care about her job in least. We will not go here again. I have better ways to spend my time on vacation.

Ate here on Saturday of Labor Day weekend. Our server was outstanding! I wish I could remember his name. Our food was served in a timely manner. My steak was cooked perfectly. Loaded mashed potatoes were not that great. Cheese was not even melted. Overall I would certainly go back. Steaks are always cooked perfectly for a chain steak restaurant.

Not that there is anything wrong with an Outback it's just not the type of place that we ever eat at when at home. But I suppose when on Holiday you go to places you normally overlook and do things you normally wouldn't do. We were seated no problem although like most Outback locations this one is on the smaller side and by the time we left there were waits of 30-40 minutes which is insane to me considering that it's in the offseason, but I digress. The service overall was acceptable although our server spent as much time telling us that she would be right back & apologizing for no longer having bussers to clear things as she did actually servicing our table. The food in terms of quality was not bad. The adult surf & turf was great as was the Alice Springs Chicken along with the kid's meals. But, of course there is a catch and that catch would be that you need to either have a really large wallet for apps/dessert or make sure you don't come hungry because the portion sizes are small. The kid's meal chicken fingers were fine it's just that there were only two of them. The kid's meal sirloin medallions were fine it's just that there were only three little nubby pieces. The Alice Springs Chicken tasted great but maybe the breast size tops was six ounces and most definitely forget about the menu description of crisp bacon as I think it oinked "Thank You" back at me as I brushed it off of the chicken. Back to front the whole meal took maybe seventy-five minutes and that wasn't bad considering it was a Saturday. Would we come back? Meh, decent quality stuff but we're not into the whole Kate Moss eating thing nor are we in the 39.6% tax bracket either so unless we're looking to keep it light in the future, maybe but only as a fallback to the fallback to the fallback dinner option.

Went here on a Saturday, had to wait 20 minutes for a party of 4...not bad considering time and location. Ended up grabbing a table in the bar area as it was first come first serve. Service was excellent, food was excellent. Issue with hubby's loaded baked potato but it was quickly fixed. We left full and will go back again!

First visit to the OC location. They had air conditioning cranked in mid December. There were several vents above us. We all wore our jackets the whole meal. Three of our five in the party were sick and miserable. The waitress tried to help, but it was fruitless. I had coffee to try and warm up, but that didn't help. All of our food was great, but atmosphere pushed us out quick.

We called ahead and made a dinner reservation for my wife, our three tweens, and me. We arrived early and barely had to wait for our booth. Our waitress, Ruth, came right away and took our drink orders. After our drink orders arrived, we had tiime to look over the menu. When Ruth came back for our bloomin' onion order, she noticed which drinks needed refilling and took care of that right away. Ruth came back to take our dinner orders and was very patient with my kids indecisiveness about how they wanted their special sirlions prepared. Ruth came back after our onion had arrived to refill our drinks. She even brought extras for my wife and girls, since they all had the lemonade. The steaks were prepared for the other four just a little more done than asked, but they were okay with that. My steak was well done instead of medium. The manager brought out the second steak with an extra baked potato (which I had originally ordered) and waited to make sure it was okay. It was perfect. My son and I had ordered the unlimited shrimp. My son didn't like the garlic herb butter, so he got his shrimp without anything. Ruth is a fantastic and attentive waitress. Eventhough there was a big party behind us (there were a lot of big parties, but they weren't overly loud) who gave her a hard time, Ruth remained patient. Outback isn't as good as specialty steak places, but that's not what we're looking for at the beach with our three tweens. Outback is by far one of the better restaurants in OC. We will be back.

The food was excellent, service was deplorable. We only had two (very easy going) people at our small booth. We were not in any rush, just enjoying going out for dinner whilst on vacation. Our waitress greeted us approximately ten minutes after being seated. It was busy, we were perusing the menu and were not bothered by this time lapse. When she greeted us, she seemed agitated at us. We did not pick out our table, but were guided to be sat at one of her table. After "greeting" us in a huff, I supplied my valid ID, and she very rudely made statements that suggested she did my believe it was my license. I look young and can understand her initial skepticism, butane was snarky about it, on top of her lack of knowledge of a desired drink. She took our appetizer order; I never receive my soup. My salad arrives, with the dressing on the lettuce versus on the aide as requested. Our entrees are dropped off. None of the sides were on the correct entree plate, we were missing items and had some we did not order, and the few, very reasonable modifications asked were completely ignored. Our server never once asked us how the food was or if we needed anything. Her demeanor changed only when boxes were needed and the check was brought, unsurprisingly wrung up incorrectly. Her attitude did a one eighty, and she was smiling and pleasant. This terrible service was added on to the amount of swear words and nasty things we heard from a large portion of the staff, including two bartenders arguing behind the bar. When we did leave, a group of staff were standing at the host stand, chatting away. Not one said good bye, no one asked about our experience. As a couple who frequent Outback in our hometown, I was disgusted and disappointed by the horrible service received at this location.

Great place. Best place in oc. 90 percent of places down here are to rise traps. This is an exception. They even go out of there way to greet you open the door for you.treat you with total repect. They even ask how your doing. They really have quality trained employees. They smile and always have nice things to say.food is always good and hot most of the time.

Me and my brother when off season with my mother. So we when down to West Ocean City MD Outlet stores and Restaurants. We Order Crab & Avocado stack. Avocado and marinated crab meat topped with minced tomato basil and a drizzle of wasabi vinaigrette. Served with white corn tortilla chips. It was awesome and an being at the beach we got something with crab in it. Main course was the Niemann's Black Forest Steak house Blaine. New York Strip with a lobster tail. And two side dish. Outstanding Also top it off with a French onion soup. It was ok. I had better. But the meal was outstanding. And with limited place in the Outlet we when there. After we shop and broth food back to the condo. If you are a Outback fan you should go here. fast service. Nice service. Friendly service. Be should in call ahead for there hours.

Whoa! What the eff? How does this restaurant attract this many people when the food is so bad? I generally never come to Outback, but was forced to on a family trip to OC. My entire family ordered first, and after a delay, I put my order in. Oddly, my dish was the first to come out, and the rest of the food came 10 minutes later. So much for the family eating together. I had ordered an aged cheddar bacon burger well done. It came out quite red in the middle. Really? You can't cook a burger to the proper temperature? My wife ordered the outback steak(not sure what cut of meat it was). She ordered it medium rare, and it came out rare to raw, very tough, and she ended up leaving it over. Lids ordered chicken strips. Too greasy, and they left them over as well. I realize that the masses flock here because this is cheap, plentiful food. I find that it is frozen(and then thawed), processed, barely edible, and poorly cooked food. The good news is that I told the wife that I will never step foot in one of these establishments again.

I love Outback!!!!!! The bacon cheese fries are simply amazing!!!!!!!! I also like the peach moonshine. It was amazing. Highly recommended. It was probably the best drink I've had in a while. We also ordered 2 bloomin onions( we were a table of 8). They comped both bloomin' onions because it was a special for the 4th of July. I had the 6oz steak and loaded potato. .... Awesome!!!!!

As good as my meal was last is as bad asit was this time. I ordered the chicken and rib combo and the rib has less then a full ounce of meat on it. The chicken was reminiscent of the Griswalds Christmas vacation turkey. Very dry and burnt on edges. Possibly the cook had gotten a coal from the wood grille fire and served it by mistake. None the less server Keith was excellent. I was not charged for my meal. Everyone else's at my table was good.

We had a great experience at this Outback Steakhouse. We called ahead for seating (about 20min) and when we arrived, they had our table for 7 ready. The place was packed, with a few families waiting at the door for an open table. Do the call ahead, it works! Service was excellent and prompt. Our waiter, Rob, was very helpful, and patient with my 80yr old Mom. I ordered my Ribeye steak "blackened" and it was cooked med just as I ordered it. Everyone was very happy with their food. The only negative: the garlic mashed potatoes were a bit runny. For a chain restaurant, this store does very well and is always busy. You won't be disappointed here.

Outback fare is outback fare. The only difference (one way or another) is the service. Our waiter ran into problems (it seemed that he forgot about our table and the one behind us. We were near the bar.) Meanwhile, Lisa, the manager, managed to make our visit outstanding by making sure we were taken care of. Oh - one tricky note, you have to go behind the CVS - there is no direct driveway into the restaurant

We eaten here a ton of times while over here but everything for the most part was fine. We had the usual onion blossom & cheese fries to start off with. I ordered the NY Strip & asked for it WELL done & even asked him to make sure he emphasizes that as I can't eat it any other way. Well that was my only issue was that it was Medium Well in some places and even only Medium done in others. I don't know why places can't get this right so of course I had to wait about 8-10 minutes while everyone else ate. Me being a slow eater to begin with of course they were all waiting on me at the end to finish. For me this is why they are only getting 3 stars for this visit.

So my husband and decided while in ocean city we wanted a steak so we come to our home away from home franchise . We love outback. We arrived told 20 minute wait. No problem 45 minutes go by still sitting and waiting . I ask the hostess which is a young gentleman with a blonde ponytail how much longer. He said there is still 4 in front of you at least 20 minutes. Wow. So he apologizes and said he can't control how long people take to eat. But what he failed to let me know was he had friends that he was hooking up with tables. I did t know this til we were in the parking lot. Which we parked all they way by the grocery store. My husband over heard the kids saying their buddy was hooking them up. Yea for them not for me. Called the manager he was very concerned and sent us a 20.00 gift card for a later use. Will try this location next winter when we come down for the holiday. Then I will decide if they are 5 star worthy.

Came here on my last two visits to Ocean City (not my restaurant choice) but both times were great. The last time we did call ahead seating for a party of 10 on a Saturday night in the summertime. Our table was ready when they said it would be, so that was great for us since half of our party were children and we didn't have to spend any time waiting on a table. Service was great and so was the food, just like at any other Outback restaurant. The place was packed, but our server never forgot about us and checked on us regularly. If our friends want to come here again on our next visit, I won't mind.

Much better than Salisbury location. Excellent salads - plenty of dressing, no yellow lettuce. steaks cooked perfectly- good cuts of meat, perfect portion size, not fatty, not burned, not gristly. Apps were delicious!! Onion and fries, perfect! Waitress was friendly, not overbearing, and attentive enough. Great outback.

My wife ordered mashed potatoes and she received broccoli, I ordered a thick fillet and I got a thin sirloin. I order my meat medium-well, and I received it well done. Vice versa for my wife. A complete disaster, and given the very long wait, we just ate what we got. The light was just behind the ceiling fan (we were outside) so the effect was like being in a disco with stroboscopic lights... The food was ok (so 3 stars), but not comparable to other chains like Texas Roadhouse.

Returned last night. Kevin was our waiter. He did a great job orchestrating delivery of food and drinks. Food was as good as we remembered. Wedge salad was delish! Honey mustard is too sugary even for the kids. Sirloin was cooked to perfection it's always wise to use call ahead seating to reduce wait time.

We went to this Outback for lunch on a weekend in the offseason. It is convenient in its location. As far as the food I'll give it a better than expected for a chain steak house. The service was extremely prompt which is important when you have kids with you. The price also was reasonable for a party of four. In the event I need someplace reasonably quick and have the kids along for a ride I'll try this palce again.

Wonderful food. Service excellent. We enjoyed steak & fish. Disgusting women's bathroom. Informed the front hostesses with poor response.

Very good food love the discounted appetizers. At the bar area. The waiter Donald J was very good. No pressure

We have been to Outback Restaurants all over. This was one of the best we ever had! It was awesome!! Note - bring a sweater because the air conditioner is freezing! You could hang a side of beef in the dining room!!

(4)Tim K.

Great Food, Great Service and Great Atmosphere!

Quick and easy service. Porterhouse was a medium-rare heaven. Drinks, appetizers, additions all came quickly and nicely done. If you are in the area and want meat this is the place!!!

(3)Judy C.
The attention we received was by far superb! Our waiter was "Jerry" and he made us feel so special. Our meal was excellent!!! Definitely the best place to eat in Ocean City!!!
(5)Christina H.
(4)F G.
(5)Paolo B.
(3)C M.
(4)Kelly B.
Great service from the front door all the way throughout the meal and a thank you and good bye door hold on the way out! We love the food, drinks and atmosphere. I've been to a lot of outbacks and this one is absolutely the friendliness one.
(5)Steve W.
(3)Bryan H.
Excellent. Our waiter was easily one of the best I have ever had. It literally blew us away. Food was excellent. Service was phenomenal.
(5)Kayla W.
